Welcome to Flash Trash Hastings City Exhibition
" Flash Trash" showcases our care for our environment.
The challenge was to bring the environment into Hastings city with a range of cool images decorating the tops of 30 rubbish bins and reminding us of our role as kaitiaki (caretakers) of our planet.
We asked for submissions from local rangatahi and the wider community, held a photo scavenger hunt at Cornwall park and selected those that met the brief the best.( Nature textures and shapes)
The images selected are shown below, and also on show at the Hastings Library.
Flash Trash let's you wander through the city, enjoying the images showcasing shapes and patterns from Nature. There are 30 images in total, right through Heretaunga Street, from Johns Bakery to Cornucopia Organics, including side streets between.
See if you can find all 30 !
